Safety From cell to system
We oversee the entire process of designing, manufacturing, and testing all product components, ensuring unparalleled control over the safety of each system we deliver. This includes hardware, software, and firmware.
Each segment includes a complete set of detection devices
Cell Level Monitoring for early detection
Sensors on each cell allow the BMS to monitor for early failure indicators, allowing cells to be removed from operation before potential failures occur.
Integrated Fire Control Panel (FCP)
Smoke and hydrogen detectors are wired to a central Fire Control Panel (FCP) within the collection segment which communicates to the site level emergency response system.
Dry-Chemical Suppression
An optional Stat-X clean agent fire suppressant installed above the battery cabinet is triggered by an independent, integrated smoke detector.
Emergency Sensing
All detectors (hydrogen, smoke) and equipment (HVAC, FSS) are monitored 24/7 by Powin if project is under LTSA.
UPS Backup
All critical detection and controls are backed up with UPS power to ensure continued monitoring capabilities.
FDC Dry Standpipe Connection
An optional 1.5” NPT connection pre-plumbed to a heat-activated sprinkler head allows for coupling to the dry standpipe when water suppression is needed.
