Powin Welcomes New Executive Team Members

We are pleased to announce the addition of two new executive team members to support Powin’s efforts to deliver efficient, safe, and reliable energy storage systems to customers worldwide.

Brian Kane has joined Powin as Vice President of Project Success. A highly experienced, customer facing technical solutions expert, Kane will help to ensure the success of all aspects of our project delivery process. Kane will be responsible for the end-to-end process of establishing project requirements to delivering the product to the field for commissioning, all while developing deep and lasting partnerships with Powin customers. Prior to joining Powin, Kane served as a key leader at Bloom Energy for more than a decade, culminating in his most recent position as Head of Enterprise Sales Engineering. Kane played a critical role in enabling organizational growth to drive revenue generation and capture. Throughout his career, Kane has amassed over two decades of experience delivering products and projects to utility, commercial and government customers. Kane graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Rachel Livek will serve as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Powin. A seasoned executive with more than 15 years of experience in delivering strategic value to the manufacturing, industrial, and financial services sectors, Livek will lead our workforce development efforts and will facilitate our operational and organizational effectiveness. Livek joins Powin from M Financial Group, where she most recently served as the Chief Administrative Officer, responsible for all aspects of people and workforce development, vendor management, facilities, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Prior to that role, Livek was M Financial Group’s Vice President of Human Resources and Shared Services, driving operational effectiveness and a unique employee experience across Human Resources, IT, Facilities, and Internal Audit. Livek graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology and has since held roles in management consulting, global leadership development, and procurement.
