PORTLAND, Ore. July 16, 2024 – Powin, a leading innovator in energy storage systems, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Himanshu Khurana as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With over 20 years of industry experience, Khurana brings a wealth of expertise in smart grid solutions, control systems, enterprise IT, and cybersecurity.
In his new role as CTO, Khurana will spearhead technological advancements and product innovation with a focus on advancing Powin’s technology platform, product architecture, secure software solutions, and analytics with AI technologies. Additionally, Khurana will oversee R&D efforts, manage technical teams, and collaborate with industry partners to maintain Powin’s competitive edge in the energy storage sector. His leadership will be instrumental in ensuring Powin continues to deliver cutting-edge, reliable, and compliant energy storage solutions.

With a distinguished career that includes serving as CTO at Honeywell and Fortive, Himanshu has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in driving innovation through software and data-driven approaches. During his tenure, he led the design and development of connected buildings, smart cities, and real-time connected worker safety solutions.
