On Tuesday, Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) kicked off a two-day conference combining professional development with tools to advance renewable energy. Many of our team members participate in WRISE through national conferences, including the Leadership Forum, and their local chapters.
Our VP of Commercial Execution Terri Denning co-created the San Diego chapter of the organization almost 20 years ago. “Through that chapter, I have met some fantastic women that I have kept in touch with, helped, been helped by, and who have advised me on each stage of my career,” said Terri. Yesterday afternoon, Terri had the honor of introducing the WRISE keynote speaker, Colette Pichon Battle, Executive Director, Gulf Coast Center for Law & Policy.
